EVERY HERO HAS A STORY! ESCAPE THE ORDINARY 2015 SUMMER READING PROGRAM IS HERE!

Almont District Library's Summer Reading Program begins June 16, 2015. Pre-registration for all performances begins at 11:00am in person and at 1:00pm for phone reservations.

2015 SRP Performances:

Jeff Wawrzaszek:

Every Magician has a Story - The Magic & Heroes Library Show! A program full of pure, imaginative magic, hilarious visual humor and terrific audience interaction!

Longway Planetarium:

Caroon Physics, Jr. - Kids will design, build, and test a super suit for their egg-tremely fragile superhero!

Joel Tacey:

Joel's Super Caper Comedy Show - FLY, POW, and LEAP into reading with Sidekick Joel! Comedy, magic, music and lots of audience participation!

Organization for Bats:

 Night Creatures - Uncover the secrets to life after dark in this interactive program for young children. Encounter an owl, bats and other nocturnal animals!

Nature on the Go!:

Nature on the Go! Has paired hands-on activities, games and small live animal observations!

Science Alive!:

Live animal presentations! A biologist and a collection of exotic critters will invade the library! Hands-on contact with parrots, turtles, snakes and maybe a chinchilla!

NEW THIS YEAR!! : Baron the Reading Dog!

Mrs. Grace, who was a reading teacher at Almont Community Schools for many years will be bringing Baron to the library each Thursday afternoon from 1-3pm! Children of all ages are welcome and parents or guardians must remain on premises while your child reads with Baron. Much more information is available at SRP sign up and at information desk!
