Prize Raffle
Every book a teen checks out and returns to the library earns them a raffle ticket for the chance to win a Kindle! The more books you read, the more chances to win!
Performances
Throughout the summer, the Almont District Library will be hosting a variety of fun and educational performers! Everyone is encouraged to attend Cameron Zvara's magic & comedy show at our SRP Kickoffevent on June 18th at 1 p.m. at the Almont Lions Hall! Come early because signup for Summer Reading and additional performances begins at 12:30 p.m. before the show!
All summer performances (except the kickoff event) require registration. First come, first served basis. Spots fill up quickly, with a waitlist for each performance. Signups start in-person at the kickoff event. Afterwards, any additional open spots or waitlist spots can be filled by registering at the library or by phone. Find the performance schedule below:
Let's look at our town in a new way in a community art exhibit! We invite you to embark on a journey of creativity through photography! We are asking our community ages 15+ to show off their photographic talent by submitting up to 2 photos (framed or matted preferred) you have taken of Almont.
Submit your photos with a short description by July 25 to be displayed at the library
Please write your name and phone number on the back of the photos. Photos should be no bigger than 11x17
Photos must be taken within the last year
Entries will be displayed from July 28 to August 6
